Are you a confident and passionate Maths Teacher, with previous experience of delivering inclusive learning and a desire to teach Special Educational Needs pupils between the ages of 6-16 years?

If this sounds like you, read on!

We are proud to be recruiting for an SEN Maths Teacher for our partner school in rural Norfolk. Set on a large amount of land, the school encourages all pupils to explore and experience new things. They have their very own sensory rooms, lots of specialist outdoor equipment and extremely supportive cohort of specialist staff.

The school recognises that for some children to achieve their potential, parents and professionals have to spend a little more time and energy putting together a support package that is going to be meaningful and effective.   For children and young people whose needs are more complex, the school creates bespoke provisions which aim to build a personal curriculum to develop a child’s communication, emotional regulation, independent living skills and access to the community.

Benefits to you

  • A rewarding position with full job satisfaction, where no two days will be the same.
  • The opportunity to gain a permanent contract with the school, through an introduction with Teaching Personnel
  • Smaller classes, with additional support means that you spend more time teaching.
  • A very supportive and enthusiastic school team.
  • Great rates of pay.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Unlimited access to Teaching Personnel’s exclusive CPD academy.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Should have QTS or equivalent
  • Will have experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4.
  • Will have excellent subject knowledge.
  • Should either have experience of working with students with SEMH or ASD, supporting communication difficulties and complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.
  • Must hold a Full UK Driving License and have own transport, due to the location of the school.

If you are interested or think it would be ideal for someone you know, please get in touch to speak with one of our dedicated and specialist consultants in the Cambridge branch (covering East Anglia).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
