Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistants, Salford Secondary Schools, September 2018.

Do you have experience working with Special Educational Needs? Do you wish to pursue a career supporting young people with SEN? If so, this SEN Learning Support Assistant role may be ideal for you.

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint several SEN Learning Support Assistants on behalf of their client secondary schools across Salford, ahead of the new academic year (2018/2019).

  • Full time SEN Learning Support Assistants, September 2018. Salford based.
  • Must hold prior experience working with SEN, any additional experience working with SEN within an education setting is highly beneficial.
  • Expect to work with the following Special Educational Needs; ASD, Social, Emotional and Mental health, ADHD, Dyslexia etc.
  • Earn up to £1000-£1200 Per month.

Our partner Secondary schools will offer the successful SEN Learning Support Assistants the ideal opportunity to progress at a range of secondary school through the continual CPD and training programmes we provide all our staff access to.

What you need:

  • An empathetic and resilient attitude, with the enthusiasm required to support venerable young people.
  • Creativity to engage young people at all levels of learning.
  • A passion to inspire children and make an impact.
  • Flexibility to work with students who present a range of special educational needs.
  • Work 1:1 and in small intervention groups supporting identified pupils with their teaching and learning.

Salford is easily accessible via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There is also an abundance of public transport options throughout Salford with links across Greater Manchester.
