SEN specialist learning support assistant - Isleworth, Hounslow - Full time - September 2020!
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full time SEN specialist to work within their KS2 department starting in September. With the closure of schools and the the potential risk of a great learning gap they are looking for additional support to work with a range of vulnerable students.
This role will involve working with students with autism, ADHD, complex learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties and behavioural difficulties. You will work alongside the SENCO and class teachers to tailor lesson plans and activities to help them develop. Each student has a range of needs so you will need to be adaptable to each given student, maintaining records and reports to document their progression.
Ideal candidate?
- Experienced supporting students with autism, ADHD, SLCN, SPLD and behavioural difficulties.
- Confident tailoring lesson plans and the national curriculum to accomodate to student's needs.
- Flexible working with a range of different students throughout their time at the school.
- Confident working as a team.

Alongside their additional ARP they have created a safe learning environment, merging both aspects of the school to encourage acceptance and inclusion. They have received a good Ofsted report, celebrating their dedication to continuously improving their standard of education.
The school is a large community that wants to help push all members of staff to develop and improve, providing CPD courses and training. The school is located in Isleworth, close to Syon Lane Rail Station - connected by multiple train and bus services. This includes having a large car park for all members of staff.
