**Support Worker –  Uxbridge – Immediate Start – Special Needs Teaching Assistant  – West London – special needs support assistant – Hillingdon – Care Worker - SENTA – West Drayton, West London – Learning Support Assistant – Uxbridge, Hillingdon**

Have you supported CHILDREN or ADULTS with autism, learning difficulties, physical disability or speech and language needs?

Or perhaps you have an interest in child development, psychology or SEN and are looking for a NEW opportunity!

We are currently working with a special educational need school in Hillingdon to find an experienced and engaging special needs support assistant to work with children in the school with autism and complex/severe learning difficulties including physical disabilities.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm and does require consistency and punctuality due to the vulnerability of the pupils. If you are confident that you could support children with the needs below we want to hear from you!

  • Autism, complex or severe learning needs, limited speech, limited social interaction,  physical disabilities and/or behaviours that may challenge
  • Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 ages 

This school is based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon with good links to Metropolitan Line via Uxbridge Station or Central London via West Ruislip Station. There is also parking onsite on a first-come-first-serve basis so this would be ideal for applicants travelling from Ealing/Ruislip to Uxbridge via car.

Having experience with special educational needs/ care plans (SEN) or being open to training in and supporting children with personal care (toileting), moving and handling (hoisting/manual handling) is desirable due to the needs of the children.

Training may be provided either in-house or though Teaching Personnel along with on-going support with your new job.
