SEN Inclusion Specialist – Transform Lives in Northampton & Thrapston!
Are you a resilient, patient, and dedicated educator looking to make a real difference? We are seeking SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs across Primary schools in Northampton, Thrapston, and the surrounding areas.

The Essentials
- Location: Northampton, Thrapston & surrounding areas
- Pay: £90 – £110 per day
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
- Contract: Full-Time Agency Cover with Permanent opportunities available
The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As an SEN Specialist, you aren’t just a classroom assistant—you are a mentor and a guide. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Targeted Support: Providing 1:1 and small group intervention for students with diverse needs.
- Overcoming Barriers: Helping pupils manage emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
- Inclusive Learning: Adapting materials and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure no child is left behind.
- Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with teachers and SENCOs to create a safe, positive environment.
Who We Are Looking For
We need "people people"—those who remain calm under pressure and lead with empathy.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting supporting SEN pupils is highly desirable.
- Specialist Skills: Team Teach training and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) experience are a huge plus.
- Mindset: A resilient approach with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations safely.
- Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
