SEN Learning Support Assistant Required for Reception Class in a 'good' school in Coventry

  • Great CPD Opportunities with Teaching Personnel
  • £10,224 - £14,831 per annum
  • Helping Students access the curriculum

The specification:

You will have previous experience supporting pupils within a SEN or Mainstream setting with SEMH (social, emotional, mental health issues). You will be able to provide one to one support and be flexible in changing your style of care, support and focus to adapt to each situation and individual pupil you are allocated. Previous skills, courses and qualifications in behaviour management, positive handling or team teach would be advantageous but not essential.

The client:

A one form entry school in Coventry with excellent facilities. A recent change in senior leadership has lead to more focus on behaviour and the school is making positive changes to support pupils that need additional help accessing the national curriculum. The school is situated within good distance of main routes from the A44 and is within a good area for public transport.

Teaching Personnel:

Teaching personnel are dedicated to providing school with quality candidates. We expect all registered staff to provide a 6 year career history and references from their most recent employer. A DBS will be required that is registered to the update service - assistance can be provided with this.
