Teaching Personnel have a high demand for Teaching Assistants in the Twickenham area. We deal with a range of SEN Schools that require TAs to work as general classroom support or on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils with specific needs. You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic and have a determination to succeed.
Prior experience working in SEN, a Learning Support Assistant qualification, or a Degree qualification is desirable, but candidates with mainstream school based teaching assistant experience will be considered. The needs of the pupils are broad, ranging from Moderate Learning Difficulties to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. TAs with additional skills such as Makaton, BSL, PECS, Team Teach and Moving and Handling are extremely sought after.
