Are you a recent graduate looking to start a career in the education sector? Do you like the idea of working in a Secondary school and want some further experience?

Secondary school in Tameside is seeking to appoint a motivated and confident graduate to work in the classroom with students in a mainstream setting aged 11 – 16. This role is ideal for a graduate who is considering undertaking a PGCE or for graduates who want more experience within a school setting. The school is situated in Tameside which is easily accessible from Stockport, Reddish and Cheadle via the M60 and also from Central Manchester with regular transport via Metrolink, train and bus routes.

Highlights of the position:

Teaching within the school is exemplary and the successful graduate will have the opportunity to work alongside a committed and dedicated team of professionals. The graduate will be supported throughout their time at the school and will gain invaluable experience working with young adults, shaping their futures.

As the successful graduate, you will be working in a support capacity, working with pupils in a full class setting as well as on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings. This could be in the form of intervention or providing support to students who require it the most. This role will allow the successful candidate to gain the necessary experience to support a future PGCE application or allow them to be involved and gain understanding of the education sector.

Graduates who have gained a degree in any area or specialism who are interested in this position are encouraged to apply below or send an updated CV to Shiv at shiv.pancholi@teachingpersonnel.com. For any additional information, contact our Manchester Secondary Branch - 0161 242 1794.
