About Us:
Teaching Personnel are looking to provide a dedicated Primary SEND TA Buddy, specialising in supporting boys with Autism, ADHD, and a range of learning difficulties. Our small, supportive community is committed to providing a personalised and engaging learning experience for all our pupils, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and resilient SEND Buddy to join our team on a full-time basis. As a SEND Buddy, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our pupils both 1:1 and in small groups, helping them to access learning, develop social skills, and build confidence in a safe and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

  • Work closely with class teachers and therapists to deliver personalised strategies and interventions.

  • Support children during lessons, break times, and transitions throughout the day.

  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

  • Experience working with children with SEND (Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties preferred).

  • A patient, compassionate and proactive approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills.

  • A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
