SEN *ARTS* Teacher required in Southampton

Are you a graduate of the Arts?

Are you interested in helping with the development of children and young adults with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Teachers with experience in the Arts (Drama/Dance/Music/Art) to plan and deliver curriculum to pupils with SEN in a small group or classroom setting at a specialist provision in Southampton.

Students will have a variety of SEN classifications, which may include:

  • Hearing/ Visually impaired (HI/VI)
  • Autism (ASC)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

Successful candidates will traditionally have experience working with SEN or be open to working within a challenging environment. This experience may be gained from previous in school placements, volunteer or personal settings. Applicants must have a Bachelors (2:1 or above) in associated subjects, and a PGCE.

Salary

Earn £110.00 - £130.00 daily (Dependent on qualifications and experience).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
