Job Title: SEN 1:1

Location: East of England, Essex, Tilbury

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one support for a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Implement individual education plans as directed by the SEN Coordinator
  • Assist with academic and social development activities
  • Monitor and track student progress and behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the student's education

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to the individual needs of the student

Education:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or related field
  • Additional training in SEN support is desirable

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Demonstrated success in supporting students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily within a school setting OR home setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
