SEMH Tutor
Job description
Are you a compassionate and skilled educator with a passion for supporting students facing mental health challenges?
TP Tutors are looking for tutors to join our service for 1:1 sessions starting as soon as possible. For tuition, we are ideally looking for educators with a teaching/education-based qualification.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs, including anxiety and depression, to facilitate their engagement with learning.
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals, taking into account students' specific needs, strengths, and areas for development.
• Utilise a range of strategies and resources to promote positive behaviour management and emotional regulation within the classroom environment.
• Support students in developing essential life skills, such as communication, resilience, and self-regulation, to enhance their overall well-being and readiness for transition to further education or employment.
• Engage in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEMH needs within a trauma-informed framework.

• Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid week.
• Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
