SEMH Tutor
Job description
At TP Tutors we are seeking SEMH/SEND tutors to help support children in their education!
If you have a passion for working with learners who have special educational needs and disabilities, we are looing for teachers to provide personalised academic support to students across the North Yorkshire area.
This role will be dedicated to helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential through 1:1 and small groups.
The role:
- Build trust and create a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Adapting teaching styles and approaches to suit individual needs, included ASD, ADHD ect.
- Deliver tailored tuition in a variety of subjects (English, Maths and Science)
What we are looking for:
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND
- A strong subject knowledge in your chosen area.
- Flexible approach to learning, adapting to the children’s individual needs.
- An Enhanced Child workforce only DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one (TP can support if needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
