Join Our Team at TP-Tutors!

We’re seeking a motivated, dynamic, and charismatic Functional Skills Tutor to work with learners who need extra support in developing their skills in Maths and English. Whether you're looking for a long-term opportunity, a short-term role, or just curious about the available opportunities in the education sector—we’ve got you covered!

As a member of the TP-Tutors team, you’ll work closely with students to tailor your approach to their individual needs and learning styles. We’re looking for someone who can build rapport quickly, inspire confidence, and make learning feel engaging and accessible.

Competitive Pay: £25 - £30 per hour.

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ A charismatic, enthusiastic, and approachable individual who can connect with students and motivate them.
✔️ Strong knowledge of the Functional Skills curriculum in both Maths and English.
✔️ Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one through TP Tutors).
✔️ Experience working with learners who may have additional needs, including SEND or SEMH.
✔️ Prior experience teaching Functional Skills or delivering adult education is highly desirable.
✔️ Professional references from your two most recent employers (covering the last 24 months of your career).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
