SEMH Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8.30am – 3pm | Age Range: 7–16 Years

We’re recruiting for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Devizes, working with students who face barriers and may have a diagnosis of autism (ASC).

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting pupils with complex social and emotional needs

• Assisting in the delivery of structured, personalised learning plans

• Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

• Building strong, trusting relationships with students

• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams

• Creating a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
