SEMH Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel have partnered with a Primary School in Bromley. They are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with aspirations to excel and develop. This is for an ASAP start. This role is ideally suitable for someone who is seeking a class-based role and is comfortable working 1:1 with children that have Special Educational Needs.

This opportunity is suitable for an individual who has experience working within a Primary school setting or has child-centred experience. This role will see you working under the guidance of the Assistant Head Teacher and Class Teacher who are able to direct you with your professional development.

As the new member of staff, you will be required to organise classroom activities, prepare resources, and implement strategies for teaching and learning. You will be required to support and deliver the programmes for teaching literacy and numeracy assisting pupils to access the full curriculum. This role will also see you becoming more familiar with lesson plans, pupil's target and learning objectives. This role will see you observing pupil's performance and regularly updating senior leadership on pupil's progression.

This Bromley based school is a two-form entry school that is very vibrant where they are home to a Nursery and a two-year-old provision serving a diverse community. They are home to pupils that are of minority ethic origin and many pupils regularly take part of the EAL sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
