Are you a dedicated and compassionate primary teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs?

We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled primary teacher to take on a role at a school in Manchester working with KS2 and KS3 students. You will play a key role in providing quality education and support to students.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of the students
  • Tailor teaching methods and materials to address individual learning styles and needs of each student, offering additional support where necessary
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom by promoting emotional well-being and develop students’ social skills
  • Regularly assess progress of students and provide detailed reports to staff and carers
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications and requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience
  • Experience working in an SEN or SEMH environment
  • Strong classroom management skills with a focus on creating a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Knowledge of relevant curriculum standards and an ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment with a positive and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
