Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting students who are facing challenges in their educational journey?

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary SEMH school in Manchester to recruit experienced teachers. The school prides itself on creating an inclusive learning environment for students who require additional support due to social, emotional and mental health needs, and creates a nurturing space for each child to progress.

As a teacher at this provision, you will:

-          Develop creative, engaging lessons that cater to individual learning needs

-          Build strong relationships with students and providing a safe space for them to learn and grow

-          Work closely with support staff and other teachers to create a holistic approach to learning

-          Teach multiple subjects at a secondary level

-          Map student’s progress and amend your approach with this in mind

-          Provide behaviour support throughout the school day to de-escalate and manage challenging behaviour

For this role you should:

-          Have previous teaching experience through multiple subjects

-          Have experience working with challenging behaviour or experience in alternative provisions

-          Be creative in your teaching to find innovative methods that resonate with diverse learning styles

-          Have a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

-          Be confident in planning and marking

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
