SEMH PE Teacher - Bournemouth

Job description

We are currently looking for a PE Teacher to start working within an SEMH Provision on a Full Time contract from September.

The School

The School is a unique educational provision, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 7 and 16 years old. The prides itself on being a school for young people who are finding mainstream education difficult.

The Role

The School require a Teacher to work full time planning and delivering PE to the the School's Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Due to the nature of the students, learning levels are normally lower than the average within Mainstream education. Due to the expansion on the school, they are looking to take the successful candidate on a Full Time role from September. The School are keen on finding somebody who would be flexible and be able to deliver English and Maths lessons.

The Candidate

A PE specialist is required, or a Qualified Teacher with strong knowledge of the PE curriculum. Previous experience of working within an Alternative Provision is preferred, however not essential, along with strong Behaviour Management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
