Job Title: SEMH Education Support Roles - Horley

Location: South East England, Surrey, Horley

Salary: £385+ Per week (full-time)

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Provide educational support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans for students
  • Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive learning environment
  • Help students with academic tasks and social interactions
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour

Required:

  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working with students with additional needs or in a classroom environment
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with typical school hours
  • Work within a school setting in Horley, Surrey
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
