Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant - Horley
Location: South East England, Surrey, Horley
Salary: £415+ Per week (full-time)
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide educational support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans for students
- Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive learning environment
- Help students with academic tasks and social interactions
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
Required:
- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- Experience working with students with additional needs or in a classroom environment
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with typical school hours
- Work within a school setting in Horley, Surrey
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
