Job Title: Secondary Tutor

Location:

South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to secondary school students
  • Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs
  • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the secondary school curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in SEN teaching techniques

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be required to work closely with secondary school students in a classroom or one-on-one setting. Some evening or weekend work may be necessary to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
