Job Title: SEN Tutor

Location:

South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide specialised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Implement strategies to help students improve academic performance and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN practises and principles
  • Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate learning strategies
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

This role will primarily involve working with students in a classroom or educational setting. Part-time hours are expected, with flexibility required to accommodate student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
