The Head Teacher at a Plymouth based SEN school is looking for an enthusiastic secondary Teacher to work in their school from December 2019 (start date could be negotiable for the right candidate).
The school is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and caters for secondary aged pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties who are no longer in mainstream education. The role is to work with pupils predominantly in KS3 and KS4 on a full time basis (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm), term time only.
The ideal candidate:
- Must be an experienced secondary Teacher- either newly or fully qualified, with exceptional behaviour management.
- Will be happy to teach across English, Maths, Science, PSHE and other subjects.
- Will be experienced in working with secondary aged pupils.
- Will be experienced in the education sector and with working with multi-agency organisations.
- Be enthusiastic and able to engage children in their learning.
- Will be prepared to plan work and take on all responsibilities of a class teacher.
- May have written IEPs and other support plans.
