KS3 & KS4 Teaching Opportunities as a Cover Supervisor!

A Secondary School widely regarded as one of the most successful in the county and has earned a consistent Outstanding Ofsted rating, excelling in all key areas including Quality of Education, Behaviour, Personal Development and Leadership, is seeking a Cover Supervisor to aid in day-to-day learning!

This is a great opportunity for educator’s who want to gain valuable experience in a classroom setting or are considering a future in teaching!

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising classes of students aged 11-16 years old during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues productively. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and maintain a focused and effective learning environment. This role may also require providing additional support to students with special educational needs.

Your specialist subject will always be kept in mind when being in the school, but openness to general cover across a variety of subjects is also desirable.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with secondary aged students is desirable
• Confident and adaptable in a classroom setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
• Genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people
• Ability to be flexible in the subjects you will be delivering!
