Secondary Supply Teacher
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Flexible (2–5 days per week)
Salary: £130–£160 per day (depending on experience)

The Role
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt confidently to different schools, departments, and classroom settings.
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Support students' academic progress and encourage a positive attitude towards learning.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and school leaders.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous secondary school teaching experience.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- References covering the last 24 months of employment.
- A professional, reliable, and flexible approach.
- Availability for at least 2 days per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
