Supply Teacher

Secondary Schools and Academies across Derbyshire are seeking dynamic Supply Teachers to join them in supporting with covid cover due to teachers continuing to shield.

We have excellent relationships with a number of schools and academies who have a need for support in a variety of subjects. This would be the perfect solution for those seeking a better work / life balance!

Who can be a Supply Teacher?

• An individual who has achieved UK QTS (primary, secondary or FE Level)
• An individual who demonstrates an excellent attitude and behaviour management skills
• A flexible timetable (minimum 2 days per week)
• Adaptable to a change in environment
• Be able to travel / drive up to 30 minutes.

What is it like to be a Supply Teacher?

• Fun! No planning or marking responsibilities
• Advanced bookings and morning bookings - The majority of the work will be booked in advance but there may be occasions where you will be called between 7am and 9am for work on the same day
• Most schools will provide the planning for the day and a welcome pack to help you settle into the life of their school day
• Delivering cover work already set by the teacher, supporting them when they need and a handover for the staff members return
• Weekly pay (PAYE)

How does it work?

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
