Immediate start, £168.80 to £261.78 per day depending on experience and qualifications, full time, part time, or flexible supply.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to support schools across Durham. This opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain further classroom experience while enjoying flexible working arrangements.

As a supply teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 within your subject specialism, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students stay focused and motivated throughout the day. Working across a variety of schools, from large academies to smaller community settings, will allow you to broaden your experience and find the environment that suits you best.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering pre prepared lessons across your subject specialism at KS3 to KS5
• Managing behaviour effectively in different school settings
• Ensuring students stay focused and engaged
• Adapting quickly to different schools and systems

You need:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Two professional references covering the last two years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and confidence working in different school environments
