Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher or a Fully Qualified Teacher who teaches English? I am currently working with the Headteacher of a rapidly improving Secondary school based in the Leeds LS17 area. Working on behalf of our client we are looking to find a Secondary English Teacher to start as soon as possible. Working with in a large and established English department, I am searching for an energetic English Teacher will good classroom management!
I am looking for Secondary ENGLISH teachers who:
- Have Strong academics throughout: GCSE's, A Levels and Degree
- Have had good to outstanding feedback from observations from senior leaders in the school
- Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
- Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
- Taught 9-1 GCSE English
- Great behaviour management
My client is a thriving, all ability, multi-cultural school with 1500 students, aged 11-18. With an increase in Year 7 intake, my client now has waiting lists for every year group. My client combines the benefits of a large school, with its many opportunities to study a wide range of subjects, with a friendly environment which is socially and culturally diverse. Despite the schools size, the expertise of student care ensures that each student is cared for as an individual. All staff work tirelessly to create the environment where our students are safe, secure and happy.
The school boasts progress in Maths and English is above national average. On average, over the last 12 months, students have improved by two full grades in English and one and a half in Maths. The school has also had excellent outcomes in subjects including Art, Technology, Music and Modern Foreign Languages. This is a great opportunity for a Newly Qualified Business Teacher to gain valuable teaching experience and a Fully Qualified Business Teacher to further progress their career and take on a new direction and challenge.
