One of our ofsted rated good schools in the Maidenhead area are seeking to recruit a number of new Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible day to day basis. This is a  opportunity to start through the agency in a variety of school settings and then transfer onto one of the school's contracts once you are happy!

This secondary school offers well rounded support across the many departments in the school as well as senior leadership.

As the new Cover Supervisor in this role you will need to;

  • Engage and build positive rapport with entire classrooms across the school
  • Use your natural presence and confidence to deliver the cover work left by the teacher - aiming to have the lesson objectives completed by the end of the lesson
  • Manage classroom behaviour by working with the school's behaviour policy
  • Have a general understanding of the subjects taught in the KS3-4 curriculum (being a specialist is not essential)
  • Collaborate and support other Cover Supervisors already in the team
  • Have a genuine desire to inspire and support every pupil's academic, emotional & social progression

The school are willing to remain open and flexible when considering applications to this role, however any prior experience working in schools or proven experience that demonstrates working successfully with larger groups with confidence will also be ideal!
