Secondary Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about education and keen to make a difference in secondary schools? We're seeking a dynamic Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our team in Aberdare on an adhoc basis.

Position: Secondary Cover Supervisor

Location: Aberdare & Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales

Salary: Minimum £95 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise secondary school classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students.
  • Provide support to students in their learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (Available on the Update Service)
  • EWC registration (Education Workforce Council)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred but not essential.
  • Background in supervision or sports coaching advantageous.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
