Science Teaching/Tutoring position available within SEN school in Wisbech.

The PWR team are currently working with an SEN school in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, to assist in them in appointing teaching staff for their current vacancies. There is currently a Science Teacher/Tutor position available on a full time, permanent basis beginning in January. The school is part of an excellent Multi Academy Trust who have many specialist schools across the country and offer many chances for career progression.

Role: Science Teacher/Tutor

Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Start: January 2024

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £22,560 - £39,300

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well-run Independent special school for pupils aged 11-16 which has a specific focus on social and emotional development for their students as well as building strong and trusting relationships between staff and pupils forming the foundation for success.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered

Experience of teaching to science to a secondary class/group

Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies

Experience within an SEN setting is an advantage
