Science Teacher needed for Manchester Secondary School

Secondary school in Wythenshawe require a Science teacher to commence a post from May half term for an upcoming maternity until January 2019 initially. This is a full time Science teaching post delivering KS3 and KS4 Science where you will be expected to plan and mark your own work.

The school are looking for a Scientist who will have excellent behaviour management and engage students of all ability levels. The school has a large percentage of students eligible for free school meals at 67% due to its diverse catchment area. The school has supportive senior leadership team and regular CPD opportunities. There are also opportunities currently for the successful Science teacher to rise up the career ladder.

The school is currently achieving below national averages academically so there will be an expectation to raise this.

Located just off the M60 near the airport the school has regular accessible routes for those on public transport.
