Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a secondary school based in the Derby area and are currently looking to recruit a Science Teacher from September. The large Derby secondary school are seeking an experienced teacher of Science on a full time basis from September 2019 on a full year contract.
Under the guidance of the Head Teacher and Governing Trust the school is seeking to appoint a resilient team player wishing to work within a highly supportive staff team. If you would like further information regarding this exciting teacher of Science position please see the details below;
- Full time teacher of Science required from September 2019
- Must hold QTS alongside subject specific equalisation within Science
- Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406
The incoming teacher of Science can expect to join a secondary school which has consistently implemented strategies to overcome challenges and improve pupil outcome. Having recently had a restructure within the senior leadership team, the school are now seeking a passionate teacher of Science to join their staff team.
The responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- Motivate, challenge and inspire pupils within the Science department across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Be committed to raising the achievement of every pupil at all levels of learning.
- Have high expectations and be committed to the school values, ethos and vision
- Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved
The secondary school is based in Derby and it is easily accessible for those living in the surrounding areas.
