Science Teacher

Our client secondary school situated in the heart of Trafford is looking to recruit a Science teacher to join them on Monday 2^nd November 2020 following the October half term. The appointed Science teacher will be required for 1.5 terms until the Easter break to cover a long term pre-planned absence. The successful scientist is required to teach all sciences to KS4.

Being a small secondary school, students are well known to all staff giving the school a family orientated feel. Senior leadership are highly regarded and have been praised for their supportive and forward thinking manner. The school is therefore looking for a Science teacher who can echo these values and get to know students quickly stretching them accordingly.

• Pay will be dependent upon payscale and calculated on a pro rata basis: GBP24373 - GBP40490 per annum

This secondary school is located in the heart of Trafford on the West side of Manchester making it very easy to get to for any science teachers. The school has a small on site car park as well as plenty of residential parking next to the school. The school is a small school but for its size and enrolment numbers, has a well resourced science department. The school can be accessed via the M60 ring road very easily as well as using the metrolink which services all of Manchester.

The school have specifically requested a passionate science teacher that is looking for a shorter term teaching placement but willing to take on the responsibility required. Planning, marking, development of resources and any relevant parent’s evenings are required as part of this teaching position.
