Teaching Personnel has been approached by a mainstream Primary school located in Batley who are looking for someone to support a year 5 student who has SEMH issues that requires assistance to access the work in class.

As a sports coach you will be responsible for:

• Helping pupils to engage with their learning
• Be a learning coach and encourage pupils to engage with their education
• Use sports as a tool to encourage pupils
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Praise good behaviour
• Deal with potentially difficult situations

The role will include using a person’s sports background to help to build relationships with students. The school seeks people with this background because people with this background display key competencies which are important to the school.

This role is starting as soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
