Science Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a passionate Science Teacher (NQT, FQT or OTT) near Wymondham, Norfolk.

Ensuring pupils have access to their education entitlement, you will be teaching Science at GCSE level to pupils who display challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues (SEMH).

The School

  • Is one of the larger SEN schools in Norfolk, catering for up to 70 pupils.
  • Has a very supportive team of senior leadership, teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Is spacious and modern, to ensure that pupils are able to find their way around comfortably and with ease.
  • Encourages the development and confidence of each pupil means that activities take place both on and off the school site, including trips to Duxford Imperial War Museum and Local Farms.
  • On-site facilities include a basketball court, football pitch, drama studio and sensory room.

  • You must have QTS with experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4.
  • You should either have experience of working with students with SEMH, communication difficulties or complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.
