Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of an Ofsted graded “Outstanding” client secondary school situated in Rotherham who are looking to appoint an exemplary Science teacher to join their Science department from February 2020.

This is a full time maternity cover for 9 months from late February 2020 and is an excellent opportunity for any Science teachers looking to work within a well accomplished school with superb pupil behaviour. The successful applicant will be required to take on full teaching responsibilities including marking/planning and will hold a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes. Physics, Chemistry and Biology specialists are all encouraged to apply due to the school being able to manipulate the timetable to suit the successful applicant. 

This is a larger than average sized school that is popular and oversubscribed. There are similar numbers of boys and girls and the proportion of those believed to be entitled to a free school meal is less than that seen nationally. The proportion of students with special educational needs and/or disabilities is in line with the national average.
