Science teacher needed for a Tameside secondary school graded Good by Ofsted due to an upcoming need within the Science department. The successful Science teacher will have the opportunity to earn a school based contract on a permanent after an initial introduction through Teaching Personnel.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a forward thinking secondary school that aims to get towards outstanding in their 3 year plan. The school has a grand building, excellent facilities and teaching aids for the incoming Scientist to make a significant impact on the students taught.

Academically this is a high performing school with students regularly achieving above national and borough averages with a positive progress 8 score. There are low levels of students who use English as an additional language and average levels of students eligible for free school meals at 21%.

If you are a Science teacher coming to the end of a contract, recently completing a supply post or have recently completed a teacher training programme and looking for your first Science teaching the school welcomes your application.

**Qualified teacher status in the UK

**Experience teaching in a UK secondary school

**Suitable teaching references

**Eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate
