Are you an experienced, Biology specialist, Science Teacher looking for an exciting new role?

  • Science Teacher, Biology specialist
  • Secondary school located in Brighton
  • Starting immediately
  • Full time teaching role
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experience Science Teacher who specialises in Biology, to teach students from KS3-5 within our client's secondary school. The role will require you to teach all areas of Science to KS2 and Biology to KS5 students. The Science Teacher role will be a full time teaching role, involving planning and marking, on a temporary basis with the opportunity of earning a permanent position.

The successful; Science Teacher must have;

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and learners
  • Good or Outstanding teaching practice
  • Excellent subject knowledge relevant to phase
  • Ability to combine a strong classroom presence with outstanding teaching and learning impact
  • Ability to teach general Science to KS3-4 students and Biology to KS5 students
  • Strong desires to play a significant role in the schools aim to provide first class teaching to all learners
  • Qualified Teacher Status/PGCE
  • Willingness to promote learning
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods
  • Experience teaching Science in the UK

With an open vacancy within the Science department, the head of Science is looking to appoint an experienced, hard working and confident Science Teacher to work the first term of the academic year.

The high achieving secondary school seeking a KS3-5 Science Teacher is based in Brighton. With excellent public transport links close by, it is very easy to access our client's secondary school. With a recent 'Good' Ofsted rating and an above average progress 8 score, this is an excellent opportunity for an experience Science Teacher to work in.
