Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join one of our forward-thinking partner secondary schools in the Worksop area. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to inspire curiosity, promote scientific thinking, and contribute to a strong and supportive Science faculty.

About the Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 expertise welcomed).
  • Use assessment and data tracking to monitor progress and plan intervention where needed.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where students are motivated to succeed.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and practical science activities.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply).
  • Has strong subject knowledge in at least one science specialism.
  • Delivers lessons that are engaging, practical, and accessible for learners of all abilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is passionate about STEM education and committed to student success.
  • Prioritises safeguarding and upholds the welfare of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
