Salary: £140 - £240 per day
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner secondary schools in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, foster a love of literature, and contribute to a dynamic English department.
About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
- Teach a broad curriculum including literature, language, writing skills, and critical analysis.
- Use effective assessment to track pupil progress and inform teaching.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports learners of all abilities.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, department initiatives, and whole-school literacy strategies.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic achievement.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply).
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
- Can deliver inspiring lessons that motivate students and build confidence.
- Shows excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Is reflective, proactive, and eager to contribute to school improvement.
