Job description

Are you a passionate Science Teacher ready to inspire young minds? We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Somerset, known for its:

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with opportunities to teach KS5)
  • Inspire students to explore the sciences and achieve their potential
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of subject specialists
  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress to ensure outstanding outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with a specialism in Science
  • Passion for teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (all disciplines welcome)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for making Science exciting, practical, and accessible for all learners
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative working

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
