Science Teacher (QTS) – Somerset
Full-time position | September 2025 start | Secondary school

Are you an inspiring Science Teacher with QTS? We are looking for a dedicated educator to join a thriving secondary school in Somerset from September 2025.

This full-time position offers the chance to deliver engaging Science lessons that spark curiosity and support students’ academic success.

Your Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

  • Foster curiosity, problem-solving, and independent learning.

  • Support pupils in preparing for exams and achieving their academic goals.

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages progress.

  • Contribute to the wider school community with enthusiasm and commitment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young learners.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
