Teaching Personnel is delighted to support a well-established secondary school in Ashford, Kent with the recruitment of a passionate and skilled General Science Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in their scientific learning journey.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in General Science, covering biology, chemistry, and physics, supporting students’ understanding and preparation for GCSE Science qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Engage students with practical experiments and scientific inquiry.
-
Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
-
Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and extracurricular activities.
-
Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
-
Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.

Degree in a Science subject or relevant qualification.
-
Experience teaching General Science at secondary level.
-
Excellent classroom management skills.
-
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
