Chemistry Teacher Required – Join a Thriving Secondary School in Folkestone

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Contribute to curriculum development and department planning

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Chemistry or a related science subject

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (ECTs welcome to apply)

  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards

  • A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
