Job description

Inspire Young Minds as a General Science Teacher 

Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable General Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in the Folkestone area. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics within a supportive and dynamic department.

The Role:

  • Teach General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available for suitable candidates)

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging science lessons

  • Monitor pupil progress and deliver effective feedback

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental collaboration

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in a science-related subject

  • Recent experience teaching science in UK secondary schools (ECTs welcome)

  • A strong commitment to raising standards and inspiring pupils

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
