Science Teacher 

Full time 

 

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to take on the role of Science Teacher on a supply basis with the opportunity to become permanent. 

About the School: As part of a highly successful and expanding trust, our school offers a supportive and collaborative environment, providing staff with abundant career progression opportunities and access to a vast network connection. The School is in a great location in the west of Cornwall with great transport links and is easily accessible. With it being a fairly large Secondary School, the pride themelseves on their family orientated approach and inclusivness.

The Role:

  • Position: Science Teacher
  • Start Date: ASAP start
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Falmouth, Cornwall

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that inspire curiosity and promote student learning.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and teaching resources tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular science activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree or relevant qualification in a scientific discipline.
  • Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level, preferably within the UK curriculum.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in their scientific studies.
