Are you a dedicated Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? A forward-thinking secondary school in Durham is seeking a skilled and motivated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time role offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and well-resourced department.

Location: Durham (DH1)
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £168.80 – £261.78 per day (depending on experience)
The Role:
You’ll deliver engaging Science lessons that spark curiosity and encourage academic achievement in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics. The school promotes creativity in teaching and values a student-centred approach to learning.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more science subjects
- Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
- Confident classroom management and a positive, encouraging attitude
