Job Title: Psychology Teacher

Location: Durham

Start date: September 2025

Job type: Flexible (full-time and part-time available)

Salary- £130-£251 a day (dependent on experience)

 

Are you a psychology teacher looking for work in September? Do you want to support students in learning why we behave in certain ways? Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a Psychology Teacher to work in schools in and around Durham

The role:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Psychology lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
  • Teaching students across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an optimal learning environment for students

Requirements for the role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Confidence in managing classroom environment and student behaviour
  • Previous teaching experience with secondary students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
